Welcome to the Ohio Parents For Education Freedom!

Thanks for taking an interest in the Ohio Parents For Education Freedom. The members of our organization—parents, students, businesses, and other community members across the Buckeye State—have come together to advocate for and support policies that allow student access to innovative public eSchools.

Our website provides information about our organization, our mission, state and national news coverage of relevant issues, and other tools and information to help advance our cause. Our Team

Cynthia Williams, OHPFEF President

Cynthia Williams has been involved in advocating for school choice and online schools for over 20 years. Both her daughters graduated from Ohio Virtual Academy (OHVA) and received certificates from the student ambassador program. They’ve gone on to advocate for themselves and the causes they care about including school choice!

Cynthia received the 2021 lifetime advocacy achievement award from the National Board, Parents for School Options and is currently a member of their board.

In her free time, she enjoys music and hanging out on the beaches of Lake Erie.
